Advancement/Alumni Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Completed scope checkpoint, which signifies the end of discovery and design for the Advancement CRM features and functionality
- Collaborated on IA CRM Team Charter
- Completed sprint planning for Sprint 0 & 1, which included assigning work commitments to roundCorner and KSU teams
- Marketing Cloud meetings were held to better understand requirements and collect current number of emails, SMS, etc sent
UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES
- Finalize decision for shared data
- Configuration, design, and development will begin for sprint 0
- Finalize implementation timeline based on above results
WKSU Update

- Completed user stories for underwriting membership
- Received and reviewed a draft design/ scope document
- Marketing Cloud meetings were held to better understand requirements and collect current number of emails, SMS, etc sent

Center for Corporate & Professional Development Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

- Received and reviewed a draft design/ scope document
- Documented and reviewed workflows

Recruiting/Admissions Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- The Student team has completed working sessions to better understand the Events functionality within TargetX
- The team also worked through initial working sessions to learn and identify group assignments which will be utilized by recruiting and admissions to assign staff to contacts for relationship management
- The team recently met with Colgate University to get a glimpse of the day-to-day operations within a production Salesforce/ TargetX environment. The opportunity to learn from other institutions is invaluable and as a result, the team has a better understanding of day-to-day management within the CRM
UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES
- Working sessions have been scheduled for communications, FormAssembly (to develop online forms such as inquiry forms), and data mapping to migrate data from legacy CRM systems
- The team will continue to work with group assignments for relationship management
- Additionally, we will be meeting to discuss reporting needs and requirements
- Finalize decision for shared data
Student Retention Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- The Retention team has worked alongside the Recruiting and Admissions team to learn the Events functionality and has also begun to identify online forms that need to be configured within the CRM
- The Division of Student Affairs held a division-wide meeting to explore the capabilities of the Salesforce CRM. The meeting consisted of a "CRM 101" presentation by IS and a time for questions, followed by a brainstorming session around making our students more successful
UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES
- The Retention team is included in the working sessions for communications and FormAssembly
- We will be scheduling retention specific working sessions, and will also be meeting to discuss reporting needs and requirements
