Recruiting - Phase II Update

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Set up/configured telecounseling
  • Loaded the following vendor data:
    • Fire Engine Red Inquiries
    • ACT Purchase List
    • American Student List (Trumbull)
    • College Bound Selection List (Tuscarawas)
  • Loaded legacy undergraduate data for the following campuses:
    • Tuscarawas
    • East Liverpool
    • Salem
    • Stark
  • Created custom notes solution
  • Changed Relationship Type – from “parent” to “legal guardian”
  • Updated event types
  • Received approval and set up Office of Global Education user permission/access
  • Rewrote Duplicate Check scenarios

  • Create OGE Internal Event form (awaiting approval)
  • Create OGE External Inquiry form (awaiting approval)

Admissions Update

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Completed a planning session to identify tasks and timeline for an April release of the TargetX online application
  • Created Admissions admin security profile

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Build the freshmen Kent undergrad application
  • Build all other undergrad applications

 

Address Verification Update

Project Highlights

  • Installed Experian QAS trial in Salesforce and began testing functionality
  • Installed and tested Record Validation in Salesforce
  • Created a comparison matrix of Record Validation and Experian QAS Salesforce features and functionality

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Determine if the tool can integrate with the application once the TargetX application is configured
  • Talk to other TargetX schools to learn how they are performing address verification on the application
  • Follow up with Experian on Salesforce trial and Talend integration POC

 

Marketing Cloud - Advancement Update 

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Developed January and February send campaign and schedule
  • Identified additional Banner data requirements
  • Worked with Salesforce to execute IP warming strategy
  • Demonstrated out-of-the-box subscription center (preference) functionality
  • Built subscriptions for out-of-the-box subscription center
  • Discussed custom subscription center design to determine feasibility of one center to support multi-org environment
  • Completed procurement of additional Sender Authentication Package

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Identify process to maintain affinity data
  • Determine engagement score criteria
  • Determine process for subscription and group management
  • Finalize Business Unit structure
  • Build segmentation reports
  • Begin Marketing Cloud sends and IP Warming

 

TKS Update 

Project Highlights

  • Set up registration email with a link to the student's specific TKS Event (for their college)
  • Set up confirmation emails to be sent after registration
  • Set up reminder emails
  • Demonstrated how to view registration numbers for tracking
  • Demonstrated how a student can cancel a registration
  • Demonstrated how a TKS manager can cancel and reschedule events with an automated email sent to students

Upcoming Project Activities

  • Train the TKS team (from RLC team)
  • Create/set up reports used for attendance, agendas, college communication
  • Conduct final testing and gain TKS team signoff

 

CRM Security Reporting Update 

Project Highlights

  • Identified reporting needs
  • Researched the Workbook Config tool which may address many of the reporting needs

Upcoming Project Activities

  • Research “Shield,” a free tool that may address reporting needs
  • Implement the appropriate tool
  • Evaluate how to produce the remaining reports needed

 

Salesforce HEDA Discovery Update 

Project Highlights

  • Installed and configured HEDA in SF 2
  • Created a sandbox specifically for HEDA testing
  • Remapped a few general person fields to use HEDA fields

Upcoming Project Activities

  • Call Miami University (first school to implement HEDA) to learn more about their implementation
  • Create a HEDA documentation specific to KSU as a reference for how HEDA will work for our institution

 

CRM Org Strategy Setup/Config Update 

Project Highlights

  • Moved forms for University Calendar/FLASHperks to the new org (SF2)
  • Tested General Person data in the new org (SF2) including HEDA fields
  • Audited Grad Admissions data and corrections pending in the original org (SF1)

Upcoming Project Activities

  • Load General Person Data to the new org (SF2)
  • Test University Calendar/FLASHperks in the new org (SF2)
  • Extract Grad Admissions Data to be saved from the original org (SF1)
  • Delete General Person and Grad Admissions data from the original org (SF1)
  • Remove University Calendar/FLASHperks specific fields from the original org (SF1)
