March/April Project Updates

Recruiting - Phase III Update

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Created New Banner Application Object fields to support data from the Banner Application Load changes
  • Updated Banner Application Load to include a number of new fields for the regional campuses and the TKS implementation\
  • Completed development, testing, and deployment of the:
    • Housing data files
    • Stark – ACT Purchase List
    • OGE Legacy loads
  • Added self-reported Athletics indicator field on RLC object and forms
  • Added self-reported Veteran indicator to internal inquiry form (all units), RLC, internal event registration form, external inquiry and event form for regionals
  • Completed miscellaneous updates to picklists, source codes, event types

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Develop Common Application Data Load for OGE
  • Add fields to the Banner Application section on RLC
  • Identify additional Conga licenses needed
  • Load OGE Legacy Data (awaiting approval)
  • Begin to develop the ACT interest data object and data requirements
  • Schedule additional training session for OGE (April)

 

 

Admissions Update

  • Completed Initial build of Kent Freshman Undergrad app
  • Demoed application with regional campuses

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Test Kent Freshman Undergrad application
  • Begin building all other applications
  • Conduct integration discovery
  • Conduct duplicate check discovery

 

Address Verification Update

Project Highlights

  • Participated in a vendor demonstration from Runner Enterprise Data Quality/Melissa. They demonstrated functionality from their CLEAN_Data and Personator applications
  • Talked to Barry University to learn how they are performing address verification using CLEAN_Data
  • Followed up with Experian on Salesforce trial, and Talend integration POC. Experian is to follow up on Talend integration

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Determine usage of CLEAN_Data and Personator across enterprise and acquire pricing
  • Build out comparison grid
  • Work with subject matter experts in each org to determine requirements and best fit

 

Marketing Cloud - Advancement Release II Update 

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Identified and established process to maintain Affinity data
  • Built segmentation reports
  • Initiated IP Warming strategy and sent first emails from Marketing Cloud
  • Began discovery of Social Studio via Accelerator series

UPCOMING PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Continue building IP reputation through email send activity
  • Evaluate Einstein Analytics to provide actionable insights from data
  • Build proof-of-concept for volunteer access and activity in Marketing Cloud
  • Investigate using Big Objects to store Marketing Cloud detailed email activity for Engagement score calculation
