Admissions Update

Address Verification Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Met with representatives from Experian QAS to discuss objectives, goals, and timelines of the project
- Reviewed documentation on integration with Talend

- Identify business needs for address verification
- Create and finalize timeline for completing proof of concept
- Begin working with Experian on executing proof of concept
- Plan a proof of concept to test features and functionality and compatibility with our integration platform
DuplicateCheck Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Supported Duplicate Check in production for recruiting
- Revised and finalized timing of jobs to run in production
- Developed custom apex job to automate the creation of search indexes
University Calendar - Rollout Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Implemented in production the event/calendar page (www.kent.edu/calendars)
- Updated the SalesForce form assembly Event Submission and Event edit pages, making them more user friendly as well as adding KSU specific CSS
- Enhanced the sorting of the JSON feed coming from SalesForce to Drupal and FlashLine
- Updated the email notification code
- Added enhancements to www calendar page:
- Improved sorting
- Linked from events directly to their corresponding event details page
- Linked to other campus calendar pages from the main calendar page
- Enhanced usability on the sort and filter by category feature
Flashperks - Phase II Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Loaded event data into production (attendance history, unclaimed prize history, claimed prize history)
- Created and activated the “FLASHPerks” tile in FlashLine
- Created an “Event History” visual force page
- Added ability to pictorially display FLASHPerks event to user community (in FlashLine), within the listing of events
Marketing Cloud - Flashperks Update
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

- Developed triggers to update student’s contact record when they elect to opt out of the FLASHperks program
- Identified and created the student population (report) to send communications (multiple populations depending on the message)

- Standardized process for requesting and receiving support from the CRM team
- Created “4 Ps”, a checklist for successfully implementing large projects

- Investigate the Higher Education Data Model (HEDA) framework for use in future projects
- Create reports for Data Stewards and Department Security Admins to help approve and request access to the CRM
