October 2015: National Cyber Security Awareness Month - Make a Difference

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). Starting in 2013, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance have teamed up every year to promote awareness and provide education about cyber security and issues surrounding America's online activities and use of the Internet. The key goal of NCSCAM is to ensure that everyone has the tools and resources they need to be safe online.

Over the last few years, participants from all over have come to join NCSAM. Some of these participants include nationwide enterprise and industry, educational institutions, consumers, and young people. With the rise of technology, we are all responsible for educating and protecting ourselves online. The Internet is a shared resources, no one person or group is responsible for securing it. We have to do everything we can to keep the Internet safe for everyone to use.
