Franklin Advertising Introduces New Creative Competition

Prizes for Best Web Design, Print, Writing, Logo Design, Photography and Illustration to be Awarded

Franklin Advertising, a student organization in Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, introduces its new creative competition, the FAd Awards, exclusively for Kent State students. The competition allows students to enter their best creative work to be reviewed by professionals, faculty members and other students.

This resume and portfolio building opportunity is open to full-time students enrolled at Kent State University. Work must conform to all copyright laws.

Categories include Best Video, Best Web Design, Best Print, Best Writing, Best Logo Design, Best Photography and Best Illustration. Students may enter work they've completed for class, as part of an internship, for a freelance project or for personal fulfillment. Winners will receive a certificate and a trophy. All entries are also eligible for the “Best in Show," a scholarship award that will go to the entrant with the highest total score. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Franklin Hall on April 27, 2016, at 5 p.m.

The cost to enter is $10 and must be submitted by Monday, April 18, 2016, at 5 p.m.
