Parking for all of these programs is in the Kent Student Center Parking Lot off Summit Street.  Tell the parking attendant you are on campus for a college visitation program.  See the Campus Map for directions and a map of campus.

Journalism & Mass Communication Majors (JMC)

Prospective JMC students and their guests will join us for a guided tour of Franklin Hall, our modern, multimedia facility and home of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC). They will see our HD digital TV studio, media newsroom where print, broadcast and multimedia intersect, and learn more about the JMC majors. Students and guests will have the opportunity to observe a TV broadcast following the tour.

If you haven’t seen the Kent State campus yet, we’d suggest that you schedule a campus tour on the same day as a college information sessions or school tour (see below).  Campus tours are offered daily for both undergraduate and graduate students and include a 30-minute presentation and a 90-minute walking tour. 

Preview KSU!

Preview KSU!, offered once during the summer and fall semesters by Undergraduate Admissions, includes a comprehensive visitation program for high school students and families.  Students can attend a CCI academic session as part of Preview KSU.
