Kent State University Marching Golden Flashes
The purpose of the MGF shall be to promote Kent State University pride through various performances on and off the Kent State University campus. These performances include but are not limited to football games and other select athletic events, parades and exhibition performances.
General membership meetings shall be held during rehearsals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with additional meetings called by the Head Field Commander as needed.
Membership in the MGF at Kent State University shall be open to any and all students at Kent State University. Active membership shall be determined by enrollment in MUS 45222 for undergraduate students and MUS 55222 for graduate students. Brass and woodwind members will register for CRN 16250, Section 001; Drumline members will register for CRN 16251, Section 002; Colorguard members will register for CRN 16252, Section 003; and Twirlers will register for CRN 16253, Section 004. Once a student graduates or ceases to be a enrolled in MUS 45222 or 55222 his/her active membership in the MGF shall cease.
