Audio Visual Equipment/Setup/Labor
Events Requiring Audio Visual:
All events requesting audio visual equipment within the Kent Student Center should contact the University Scheduling Office at 330-672-3202 or firstname.lastname@example.org to secure availability of equipment for the event. Events external to the Student Center which need equipment should contact Educational Technology at 330-672-4357 (and press 1) or email@example.com.
Locations Requiring an Operator:
All events held within the Kent Student Center Ballroom and Kiva will require an Operator at the charge of $20.00 per hour.
Events in Cartwright Auditorium and Rockwell Hall:
All events held within Cartwright Auditorium are required to have a supervisor and custodian on duty. Events in the Rockwell Hall Atrium are to have a custodian (and fire marshal if hot food is being served) on duty. Charges range from $26.00 - $45.00 per hour/per person and may have a four hour minimum. Contact the Scheduling Office for an estimated quote.
Kent Student Center Room Arrangement:
Any rearrangement of the standard setup in a room in the Kent Student Center must be done by members of the Operations staff. There will be a minimum labor charge of $20.00 for setup charges.
A group leaving a meeting room in disorder is liable for a charge of labor required to clean and reset the room with a minimum charge of $20.00.
