KSU High-Power Rocket Club
An interdisciplinary, Integrated Product Team comprised of members with varying majors, assembled with the intent to design and build high-power rockets for professional competition.
General meetings shall be held at least once every two weeks.
Executive meetings of officers shall be held weekly.
Meetings shall be presided over by the program manager, unless he or she is absent, and in that case the designated team lead shall preside.
All decisions shall be made by the officers through general agreement reached by discussion at executive meetings
Any member of the Kent State University community is eligible to become a member of the HIGH-POWER ROCKETRY CLUB.
The membership of the HIGH-POWER ROCKETRY CLUB will, at all times, contain at least 5 Kent State University students.
The HIGH-POWER ROCKETRY CLUB will not discriminate based on any characteristic.
This club’s main focus is on a rapid-paced competition that requires a commitment and dedication from its members. Members must be willing to attend all scheduled meetings and designated work periods to include those periods on the weekends.
MEMBERS WHO MISS TWO MEETINGS IN A ROW ARE ELIGIBLE FOR TERMINATION FROM THE TEAM.
ALL MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE A LABORATORY SAFETY TRAINING COURSE prior to working on this equipment.
Members are NEVER allowed to work in any laboratory space within the aeronautics & technology building without specific approval from the faculty member in charge of that laboratory space.
