Minor in Spanish
The Spanish minor enables students to reach a level of proficiency (ideally, advanced) in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and acquire knowledge of the literatures and cultures of Spain and Latin America. To achieve these goals, students study grammar, composition, speaking, Spanish and Spanish-American civilization and Spanish, Spanish-American and Hispanic literature with an emphasis on culture.
ALL MCLS MINORS AND MAJORS MUST CONSULT AN MCLS ADVISOR EACH SEMESTER.
ALL UPPER-DIVISION COURSES ARE RESTRICTED. ALL STUDENTS REQUIRE A PERMIT FROM AN MCLS ADVISOR IN ORDER TO ENROLL IN SUCH COURSES.
