Craig Webb
Biography
Craig Webb is a journalist in Northeast Ohio with more than 30 years of experience. He has been a writer and an editor at the Akron Beacon Journal for 20-plus years. He is also an adjunct instructor who teaches news writing and other courses at his alma mater Kent State University and its Stark County regional campus. A self-described out-of-shape, middle-age suburbanite, Webb has taken readers and viewers on a number of adventure adventures including an embarrassing sweaty appearance on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow. He has survived Cedar Point’s world-record shattering tallest and fastest dive coaster, attempted to play bubblesoccer, climbed 50 feet above the trees in the Cuyahoga County Metroparks at the Go Ape USA adventure course and “volunteered” to be pepper sprayed by police officers training for the RNC convention in Cleveland. He lives in Medina with his wife Jennifer, a fellow Kent State alum, five kids, a yellow lab and an ornery cat.
