Daniel Fisher

Daniel Fisher is a veteran acquisitions and distribution executive who has spent over twelve years in the independent film sector. He is also principal of Poppy Pictures, a boutique film sales and representation company. His previous posts include Vice President, Acquisitions at Freestyle Digital Media (a subsidiary of Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios) where he oversaw their home entertainment slate and participated in the acquisition of Hostiles (Christian Bale, Rosamunde Pike) and Replicas (Keanu Reeves, Alice Eve).

Prior to this, he served as Senior Director of Acquisitions for Gravitas Ventures and Director of Worldwide Acquisitions at Entertainment One (eOne). Dan began his career as an assistant to James D. Stern, founder, and CEO of Endgame Entertainment.
