Internship: Product and Retail Media Intern, Arborwear

"Interning with Arborwear has given me the ability to explore my different interests and execute in different ways."

Through his internship with Arborwear, the Ohio-based outdoor clothing store, Zachary Zdanowicz has learned that “working in a professional environment is not always as intimidating as you may think.”

As the product and retail media intern, he has been working on a variety of projects to help prepare and promote Arborwear for its new building/retail store opening in Fall 2021. Coursework in the School of Media and Journalism at Kent State often centers on the opportunity for students to work with real companies/clients. This prepared Zachary well to succeed in this internship.

Because of this, I have been able to pull from my various career goals and see how it could work out in a marketing/PR environment, and it has only made me more excited to achieve career goals of working in fashion public relations for corporate retail.”
