MDJ TechHelp is the office concerned with technology owned by the School of Journalism, Student Media, and the CCI Dean's Office. We address the issues of faculty, staff, and student staff, as well as all hardware owned by CCI. You can open a new MDJ Tech Help case using our online ticketing system.

Global Protect VPN
The Virtual Private Network (VPN) service allows you to create a secure connection between your computer and the Kent State University network.
While connected to the VPN, you will have access to the university's computing resources as if you are on campus (with exception to several Administrative Systems, see links below). The VPN is only required when attempting to access resources that are not normally available from off-campus.

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY TECH HELP
Kent State University Tech Help is available to all KSU students, staff and faculty for issues relating to university-wide systems, such as:
- Password resets
- KSU VPN
- Banner
- Blackboard Learn/Canvas
- Off-campus access
They offer online tech ticket submission, live chat, and an extensive self-help knowledge base. 24/7 phone support is also available at (330) 672-HELP (4357).
KSU Service and Repair Center
The Service and Repair Center can assist faculty, staff and students with the technical needs of their personally owned computers. Located in the Kent Campus's Tri-Towers Rotunda, Room 112, The Service and Repair Center's certified technicians offer professional software and hardware support at an affordable price, including:
