Wendy Wardell began teaching in MDJs Advertising sequence after a successful career in advertising that spanned brand advertising, shopper marketing, media and strategy.
Wendy spent the bulk of her career leading teams in the development of shopper and commerce solutions for CPG brands like Zyrtec®, Bendryl®, Huggies®, Kleenex®, Glade® and Windex®. She held pivotal roles in developing multi-agency, omni-channel processes, and was the Marketing Activation lead in the development of many national and global new business presentations.
As part of MDJ, Wendy introduced the Effie Collegiate Challenge to Kent State and consistently advises teams to semi-finalist and finalist recognition. She teaches four of the core Advertising courses and is adviser to Franklin Advertising, the student advertising organization. Wendy also maintains an active consulting practice that includes both B2B and B2C work.
