Kent Blossom Music Festival welcomes over 40 young artists for 50th anniversary season
Soon, students will start arriving from around the world for the the Kent Blossom Music Festival's 50th anniversary season. Running 5 weeks, July 1 - Aug. 5, the faculty of the festival includes members of The Cleveland Orchestra, Hugh A. Glauser School of Music and guest artists. Students will work weekly with these faculty members in private lessons, chamber music coaching and orchestra classes. They will also have several opportunities to perform, with regular appearances on the free Student Concert Series and a side-by-side performance with The Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center. More information about the student concerts can be found here.
This year the Kent Blossom Music Festival is welcoming a diverse groups of young artists with students coming from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Colombia and the United States. They also represent some of the finest conservatories and colleges in the world. See below for a complete list of the 2018 participants.
