TeleProductions helped Kent State University recognize donors at the annual Founders Gala.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, the university acknowledged those who’ve made donations upwards of $100,000 – and the TeleProductions crew was there to capture the event.
“We work with TeleProductions because we have always had a very good collaborative experience,” said Valoree Vargo, the executive director of donor services. “It is always a pleasure to work with TeleProductions.”
To put together a professional production, TeleProductions continued its initiative to give students hands-on experience with production work.
Freshman electronic media major Viktoriia Yushkova was one of the students among the crew. The Founders Gala was the first time Yushkova worked in TeleProductions’ high definition production truck.
“Working events like the Founders Gala is very exciting,” Yushkova said. “I enjoy my work and the people I work with as well… I am defiantly sticking with TeleProductions for all four years of my college career.”
Also among the crew was Mike Donelan, a sophomore electronic media major.
“Getting experience in the truck is not only experience for future jobs, but it is also experience networking,” he said. “Experience in a truck will help me get a job in the future and make me more qualified for it.”
Vargo noticed the crew’s work that night and called their performance “stellar.”
“They all did a great job and the entire production went off without a hitch,” she said. “We are always happy to incorporate student workers… into any event or project we produce.”
