Kent State To Host A Community “Polar Express” Themed Party

Posted Dec. 2, 2013

Student Government at the Kent State University East Liverpool campus is gearing up for the holiday season. The members of student government will hold the second annual “Polar Express” themed Holiday festival directly following the Christmas parade on Saturday, December 7. Families are invited to enjoy free holiday fun, including pictures with Santa, hot cocoa and a showing of the film Polar Express. Students and children are encouraged to wear their pajamas in an effort to keep with the Polar Express theme.
Student Government President, Alison Wilkinson is excited to start the holiday season with a polar express themed kid’s party. “I can’t wait to see the looks on all of the children’s faces when they walk in and see a replica train and Santa Claus,” she said. “Student Government is committed to serving our community, and this free holiday festival is another way we can do that.”

The Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 5:00 p.m. in downtown East Liverpool. Please join us for some family-friendly holiday fun directly following the parade at our East Liverpool campus, located at 400 East 4th Street. For more information please contact Student Government Advisor, Donald Bean at 330-382-7414.
