Twelve years ago, a team of Kent State University faculty members discovered their common hobby of playing instruments at a Department of Psychological Sciences’ event. After that, they created a band that now performs under the name Diminished Faculties.

As a Kent State student-athlete, he earned eight varsity letters in golf, football and ice hockey, and several other sports achievements. Now, he is one of the most respected coaches in the country.

Kent State student-athletes are using a new, state-of-the-art cryotherapy chamber to aide in muscle recovery. The chamber uses subzero temperatures to help decrease pain, slow cell aging and reduce the chance of muscle spasms.
