OFFICE HOURS

Office Hours are available on campus, typically in the professor’s office, for students in their courses to stop in and receive additional assistance regarding topics covered in class/ material specific to a course. Office Hours are listed on your syllabus- so if you need to meet with your professor, pull out your syllabus, check times and location, and stop by!

POWER HOUR

Power Hour is a Columbiana County Campus initiative to encourage interaction between faculty and students. Are you confused about a particular topic and need clarity for understanding for a particular class? Faculty will be available to help provide that clarity. Students are encouraged to spend an hour of power learning from a faculty member. It does not need to be the same professor who teaches your class!
Choose what subject you are interested in exploring and show up to have an interesting discussion on key concepts, get help understanding specifics, or develop deeper meanings between subject matter.
The Salem Campus "Power Hour" takes place in the "lounge corner" of the Campus Library (look for signs upon entering). The East Liverpool Campus "Power Hour" is held in the Lang Learning Loft of the Library, located in Purinton Hall. Associate Degree Nursing students meet in the Mary Patterson Building.
