Performing Arts Center Announces Partnership with Tuscomusic

The Performing Arts Center and Tuscomusic are partnering together to present three concerts this summer. Designed to provide an intimate evening of music, these concerts will bring both the audience and the artist onto the PAC stage to allow for a more immersive experience. The performances are social events where good music, food, and ambiance are a central focus.

“When Tuscomusic first started presenting concerts, I was very excited by the possibilities,” says David Mitchell, general manager of the PAC. “Our community is ready and hungry for new arts outlets; ones that provide experiences we’ve normally had to drive out of the area to find. What Tuscomusic has been able to do and the audience they’ve reached in a relatively short time span is impressive and speaks to the need for new arts ventures like this.”

“A thriving arts culture is one component that talented professionals value when looking for a place to live,” explains David Ryder, event manager for Tuscomusic. “The health of our community relies on creating an innovative, beautiful, and thoughtful environment that people want to live in. The Performing Arts Center has set the standard and Tuscomusic seeks to be an integral part of that environment as well. Vital as the creative arts are economically, their overall importance to our community transcends economic analysis.”

Kicking off the summer series will be Internationally-acclaimed Hammond B-3 organist Tony Monaco on June 16. Jazz piano sensation Theron Brown will perform July 27 and The Carter Snyder Quintet (AKA The Bar Flies) concludes the summer season on August 11.

Dinner is included in the ticket price and a cash bar will be available at all events. All shows begin at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so advance purchase is recommended. Each performance is a TuscoTV television production filmed on location.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330.308.6400 or online at tuscomusic.com. The box office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free and convenient parking is available for all shows. The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Dr. NE, in New Philadelphia.
