NPR Host Peter Sagal to Speak at Kent State Tuscarawas

Peter Sagal, humorist and host of one of National Public Radio’s most popular programs, will speak on Mon., Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center during the Kent State Tuscarawas 50th Anniversary on University Drive Celebration.

As the host of “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” for its 20 year run on NPR, Sagal is heard by more than 5 million people every week and broadcast on more than 600 public radio stations nationwide and via a popular podcast. The hour-long show has captivated news junkies across the country with its lighthearted approach to current events and has become the biggest and most beloved weekend radio phenomenon since “A Prairie Home Companion”, receiving the prestigious Peabody Award in 2008.
