Dr. Na'Tasha Evans
School of Health Sciences
Dr. Na’Tasha Evans is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Health Education and Promotion in the School of Health Sciences for the College of Education, Health and Human Services at Kent State University. Her research agenda is centered on examining health disparities and minority health with an emphasis on (1) examining maternal, child, and infant health; (2) exploring patient-provider communication; and (3) investigating women’s health utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches. Dr. Evans established the Research and Education Collaborative for Health Disparities. Since establishing her lab and research at Kent State University, she has received one national and one international grant, published five manuscripts, and has 11 international and national referred conference presentations.

Dr. Adam Jajtner
School of Health Sciences
Dr. Jajtner is an Assistant Professor in the Exercise Science/Physiology program in the School of Health Sciences. He teaches undergraduate students in Exercise Science program and oversees graduate student research within the Exercise Performance and Recovery Lab and the Exercise Biochemistry and Immunology Lab. He has published several articles on the inflammatory and immune response to exercise, focusing on muscle damage and resistance exercise. More recently, Dr. Jajtner has expanded his work to examine the ‘Open Window’ theory and how variations in exercise mode, intensity and volume may manipulate an individual’s immune response to exercise. Since arriving at Kent State, Dr. Jajtner has received multiple internal grants as well as an extramural grant and has overseen two graduate students that have secured external funding to pursue this research.

Dr. Seon Jeong "Ally" Lee
School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration
Dr. Seon Jeong (Ally) Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Hospitality Management program at Kent State University. She received a Master of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She teaches a variety of classes in the program including Strategic Lodging Management, Catering Management, Introduction to Hospitality Management, and Cost Control and Analysis. Focusing on service marketing, her research focus includes persuasion strategies, experience marketing, and consumer well-being. Her work appears in such journals as the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, and Journal of Services Marketing. Dr. Lee has had a tremendously productive year and she won the Research Report Competition at the 2019 International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education Conference in New Orleans. In the previous year, she also won the Best Paper Award at the 2018 Tourism and Retail Management Conference in Macao.
