KENT- The Golden Flashes and 850 ESPN Cleveland have reached an agreement to broadcast select men's and women's basketball games through the rest of the 2022-23 regular season.
The first broadcast will be on Tuesday, January 3rd when the Golden Flashes men's basketball team tips-off Mid-American Conference (MAC) play against the Western Michigan Broncos. In total, 17 men's games will air on 850 ESPN Cleveland with four women's games joining the slate. The first women's game will be on Saturday, January 14th against the Toledo Rockets.

I look forward to the opportunity to share our story with them as well as new fans as we make a run towards a pair of conference championships in March."
850 ESPN Cleveland is one of the sports leaders in Northeast Ohio and across the Buckeye State, serving as the flagship station for the Cleveland Browns. In addition to airing on 850 ESPN Cleveland, broadcasts will still be available through the Go Flashes and Varsity apps and can now also be streamed on espncleveland.com and through the ESPN app.
The Kent State men's and women's basketball programs are off to terrific starts this season, with both teams ranked inside the Mid-Major top-10. The full broadcast schedule with air times is listed below.
