Biography
I began my employment with Kent State University in September 2000. Since 2002, I have been Program Director for the Educational Studies and Integrated Health Studies bachelors’ degree programs. As Program Director, I am responsible for both undergraduate programs’ curriculum, instructors and am the program advisor for all undergraduate students in these majors. I meet with students individually to help determine their career paths, academic plan and internship interests. I enjoy interacting with both the students and internship sites, and look forward to the continuing challenges and rewards the environment presents. Prior to coming to Kent State University, I worked in the health field as Health Commissioner for the Ravenna City Health Department and Health Educator for the Summit County Health Department. I currently possess a bachelor's degree in health and science education from Kent State University and a master’s degree in public health from The Ohio State University. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.
