Kent State helped me progress in my career

I graduated with my Nursing & Healthcare Management MSN in May 2012. Kent State has helped me progress in my career and field overall! I completed my ADN from a Kent State branch (East Liverpool), my BSN from main campus, and then my MSN. I have worked in the field of mental health and addictions for my entire career and many of those years in leadership roles which was made possible by my time at Kent State. I am currently the Director of Behavioral Health Services & Nursing Quality at Southwest General Hospital. In addition, I am an Adjunct Faculty – Clinical Instructor (Behavioral Health) for the University of Mount Union. I also serve as the President of the Ohio Psychiatric Nurse Administrators (OPNA) group. I can't thank Kent State enough for the skills my education helped me acquire and the great leaders/mentors I worked with during my time there.
