Biography
I am the BSN Nursing Coordinator at Kent State Geauga and full time lecturer at the undergraduate level. I obtained my MSN from Kent State in Nursing Education in 2015. I have been an RN for 20 years and worked 12 of the 20 at the Cleveland Clinic in Interventional Radiology as a sedation nurse and have a strong background in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Aside from nursing and teaching, I volunteer at free medical clinic for underserved populations once a month and volunteer as a grant coordinator for the American Society of Digestive Disease Interventions. I presented at DDI 2017 a poster on the topic "Health Disparities in Liver Disease Among Minorities" and the abstract was published by Digestive Disease Interventions Dig Dis Interv 2017; 01(S 04): S1-S20 DOI: 10.1055/s-0038-163651.
