Albert Named AAN Fellow, Honored by American Red Cross

Nancy M. Albert will be inducted as a 2015 fellow of the American Academy of Nursing during the academy's annual conference on Oct. 17, 2015, in Washington, D.C.

Albert, who received both her master’s and doctorate degrees from the College of Nursing, will join several Kent State alumnae who have recently received this prestigious honor, including Dean Barbara Broome and Professors Emeritae Peggy Doheny, Ruth Ludwick, and Carol Sedlak.

Academy fellows include hospital and government administrators, college deans and renowned scientific researchers. Selection for membership in the academy is one of the most prominent honors in nursing.

In addition to this honor, Albert was recently named as Healthcare Volunteer of the Year by the American Red Cross.

Albert is currently the Associate CNO in the Office of Research and Innovation at Cleveland Clinic.
