Alumnus Zagger Named VP of GERD Medical Device Company

Kent State College of Nursing alumnus Michael Zagger was appointed to the executive team at EndoGastric Solutions, Inc., a leader in incisionless procedural therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), in June. Zagger, a 1985 graduate of Kent State's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Zagger's career began in the cardiovascular surgery department at Cleveland Clinic, where he served in a clinical support role. He later worked in various sales and business management roles at Bayer Pharmaceutical Division and later as a Senior Vice President and General Manager at St. Jude Medical.

Zagger specializes in sales and marketing management for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, and clinical education. He earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
