Kent State Alumna Joins Inovio Pharmaceuticals’ Board of Directors
Nancy Wysenski, graduate of Kent State’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, was recently named to the Board of Directors at Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Inovio, headquartered in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, develops immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. She also serves on the boards of Alkermes PLC and Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals.
Wysenski was previously the executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, as well as the chief operating officer of Endo Pharmaceuticals. She participated in the establishment of EMD Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she was president and chief executive officer from 2001 to 2006.
She was the founder and past president of the Research Triangle Park Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. She also served on the Nominating Committee and National Advisory Board of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
Wysenski received her MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
