The Institute for African American Affairs in the Department of Pan-African Studies presents the fall 2017 Lunch and Learn presentation series.  We cordially invite faculty, staff, students, and community members to attend these brief yet informative presentations.  This semester will feature: Dr. Kizzy Albittron, assistant professor, school of psychology, will present on the topic: “Disproportionate Disciplinary Practices Among Preschool-Age African American Boys”, Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Dr. Asantewa Sunni-Ali, assistant professor, department of Pan-African Studies, will discuss "Seeds of Revolution: Performing Liberation on Young Black Bodies", Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Dr. D. Amy Rose Forbes-Erickson, assistant professor, department of Pan-African Studies, will talk about the “The Pan-African Theatre Ensemble”. These presentations are held the third Wednesday of the month through November in room 127c Oscar Ritchie Hall from 12 pm - 1 pm, so mark your calendars now.
