Ohio Adapted Physical Education Endorsement (online)

Kent State University Physical Education Teacher Education has been approved by the Ohio Board of Regents to offer the Ohio Adapted Physical Education teaching license endorsement. The endorsement consists of two graduate level courses:

CI 65037 Adapted Physical Education (fall semester only)

This online course is designed to prepare physical education teachers to provide safe, appropriate, and individualized accommodations to students with disabilities. All information presented is based on research-based and cross-culturally appropriate practices in adapted physical education.

CI 65592 Practicum in Adapted Physical Education (spring semester only)

Supervised and supervisory experiences in adapted physical education for all ages, including conceptual bases for assessment and individual task analysis.
