FLORENCE SUMMER INSTITUTE

The Florence Summer Institute takes place during the month of June. Students take two courses, earning 6-7 credits.

  • Attend classes Monday through Thursday
  • Spend 3 day weekends exploring Europe
  • Rome, Venice, Paris, and London within easy reach

Kent State has been educating students in Florence for more than 40 years. Home is Palazzo dei Cerchi, a 13th-century palace in the heart of the city with medieval frescos and wireless Internet, along with Palazzo Bartolini Baldelli, which overlooks the historic Basilica of Santa Croce, burial site of Galileo and Michelangelo.
