Research and Scholarly Activities Program Assessment and Recommendations
Kent State University wishes to increase its level of research, scholarly and creative activities as an important element of its future as a research university. To assist in this endeavor, the university invited Dr. Brad Fenwick, Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances for Elsevier, to conduct an external assessment of current conditions and levels of research activity at Kent State.
The final report to President Warren also provided a series of recommendations, which included the designation of a cabinet-level vice president reporting directly to the president. To view the full report, click here.
While the report is advisory in nature and is under review in the strategic visioning process, its conclusions may be of particular interest to members of the university community at this time, as candidates are visiting campus to interview for the Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs position.
