GBEX is honored to have the opportunity to support the students and administrators of Kent State University. In January of 2014, GBEX constructed and opened its very own licensed call center at our headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We are pleased to announce our new office supply agreement with Kent State University effective April 18, 2016. Our partner, Office Depot, has demonstrated the ability to service our customers uniquely on a local and national level. We have chosen to work with Office Depot to provide you with your everyday office supply needs. Office Depot’s ordering website is highly ranked among all internet retailers in the country and designed for maximum online ordering experience and efficiency.

Office Depot’s award winning website includes the following features:

  • Easy to navigate - find and order what you need quickly and efficiently
  • Online returns
  • Real time inventory and pricing
  • Find accessories/supplies for your office machines (find all applicable toners and machine’s consumables by simply typing in your machines brand and model number)
  • Create a personal shopping list
  • View order status

Ordering Method:

Kent State University will be ordering supplies via punchout from FlashCart.

Placing an Order:

  1. Use your computer to access Kent State University's ordering platform, FlashCart
  2. Login with your username and password. 
  3. Your company-wide shopping list has been created and will identify value priced items pre- chosen for you with the BEST VALUE icon. This eliminates searching for the best price on your contract items. Also, feel free to create a personalized shopping list for your most frequently ordered items.
  4. If you know the item number(s) for the product(s) you wish to order select “Order By Item” at the top of the page. Type in the item number, quantity, and comment, if desired. Then, add the items to your cart.

    If you do not know the item number(s) for the product(s) you wish to order, you can:
    1. Search for product using key words or manufacturer part numbers by entering the information in the space provided in the toolbar.

    2. Shop using our online catalog. Simply click on “Office Supplies” in the upper left hand corner and you will be directed to category listings of the catalog.

  5. Select Add to Cart to add your desired product to your shopping cart.
  6. Select Continue Shopping to continue or Checkout from the shopping cart in the top right if you have finished shopping.
  7. If you selected “Checkout”, verify items in your cart are correct and complete any required information. Please confirm your shipping information is correct, and please fill in your appropriate routing information (building, floor, room number, etc.).


Return an Order

Deliveries will be made the next business day, unless otherwise noted, provided your order has been approved and received by 5 p.m. local time via the internet.


Orders will be delivered free of charge. Please consolidate your orders where possible. Ordering in bulk is a simple way to reduce costs, waste, fuel and greenhouse gases. You will save on paper, staff time and logistical costs while also reducing the product packaging waste and carbon dioxide emissions associated with delivery of your office supplies.

Upon Receipt of Your Order:

Verify that all items on the packing slip listed as shipped are in your order. Any shortages or incorrect items should be reported to GBEX Customer Service within 3-5 days of delivery. Items on backorder will be noted on the packing slip.
