2019 Public Health Career Day
On April 4 we held our annual Career Day event. One hundred students attended and were able to speak to representatives from over two dozen local employers. This year our employer partners included state and local government agencies, local health departments, hospital and long-term care organizations, non-profit organizations and academic institutions.
Kent State’s Career Development and Exploration office conducted a workshop on resume building and a representative from the Cleveland Clinic help a workshop on obtaining jobs in the health field. We want to thank them and our Public Health Ambassadors – Bill Franks, Matt Stefanak, and Bob Howard – for helping organize our Career Day.
