American Heart Association Heart Walk 2016
On Saturday, September 17th, a team of Kent State employees and students will participate in the Second Annual 2016 Portage County Heart Walk. Supporting this event and the American Heart Association is a win-win opportunity.
The College of Public Health has made a commitment to help raise $12,500 for the American Heart Association through the Portage County Heart Walk.
You can help this event raise over $12,500 by making a donation online. Visit http://heartwalk.kintera.org/akronoh/ksucph and click on “Donate Now” where you can make a secure online credit card donation. I understand that as a student, fundraising is difficult. If you are able, ask your friends, family, or professors to donate to this great cause!
In addition to raising funds, we have a team that is participating in the walk! If you want to join our team and walk to raise awareness for heart disease, visit the same webpage above and click on “Join Team”. Follow the instructions to join and once registered, you will be part of the Kent State University College of Public Health team!
