Celebrate 100 Years of Homecoming with the College of Public Health!

Kent State is celebrating 100 years of Homecoming! Be a part of the long-standing traditions and show your Golden Flash pride. While there will be many exciting activities on campus, don’t miss out on these College of Public Health (CPH) events!

9-9:30 – Moulton Hall

Gather with alumni and students in Moulton Hall before the parade. Come pick up a FREE Homecoming or CPH t-shirt.

10 AM – Midway Drive

At this time, the 2018 Kent State Homecoming Parade will begin and you can be part of the action! Alumni are welcome to walk in the parade with the Public Health Student Alliance. This year, students have worked hard to create a float! Alumni are also welcome to stand with a group along the street and cheer on the College of Public Health.

“Since this is the 100th anniversary of Homecoming at Kent State, our parade theme will be 100 Years of Accomplishments in Public Health,” said Laurel Tomi, Coordinator for Graduate Recruitment and Service Support.

11 AM - 1 PM – Moulton Hall Ballroom

After the parade, alumni are welcome to meet in the Moulton Hall Ballroom for a light lunch with refreshments and a meet-n-greet. Students can meet with faculty, administrative staff and talk with alumni.  If you have never been in the new high tech research laboratories, Dr. Woolverton and two of Dr. Tara Smith’s research assistants will be on hand to give you a tour. The laboratories are located on the 3rd floor of Moulton Hall.

Come home on October 6 and celebrate the College of Public Health! Go Flashes!
