Trends In Diversity
Kent State University's Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is presenting the inaugural issue of the new peer-reviewed academic online journal called Trends in Diversity.
Trends in Diversity is an open-access, online journal that provides a platform for intellectual dialogue and exploration of emerging and transformative issues of equity, inclusiveness and diversity in higher education. Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Dr. Alfreda Brown, Ed.D., envisions the journal as a voice to what is taking place in higher education toward historically underrepresented communities and marginalized groups.
Ruth A. Washington Ph.D Executive Director, Office of Faculty and Graduate Student Retention, Inclusion and Success stated, "The journal offers the perfect infrastructure for faculty/practitioner's nationally and internationally who lead the way in research on historically underrepresented communities and marginalized groups to publish their research, We certainly want our faculty/practitioners who do research in this area at Kent State University to submit papers for publication."
