Adventure Center

The Adventure Center is the umbrella for a variety of programs and services through the Department of Recreational Services. Some of the highlights of the Adventure Center include Crooked River Adventures, adventure trips and the climbing wall. Crooked River Adventures, our canoe and kayak livery in downtown Kent, run throughout the summer and into the Fall semester until the weather no longer permits use of the river. Our adventure trips run during the Fall and Spring semesters and typically include experiences such as snowshoeing, river rafting and backpacking. The rock wall is open year-round at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and offers free try climbs on Fridays from 4 - 8 p.m. The Adventure Center also runs the Outdoor Rental Center, offering high-quality, low-cost equipment for all your camping, boating and biking needs.
