Winter Break Ski and Snowboard Trip- Winterpark, CO

Join us for a week of wintery fun as we hit the slopes on Jan. 9 - 14. We will be staying in condos that have a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and cable TV. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tub, heated parking garage, fitness center and private scheduled shuttle. Ski and snowboard lessons and equipment rentals are available in the area but are not included in the fee. Flights, lift tickets, shuttle to/from Denver to resort and lodging included. Peek’n Peak, NY Day Ski trip

Hit the slopes with us at Peek’n Peak Resort for a day out on the mountain. Price includes lift ticket, rental equipment, and transportation. Great deal for a great day in the snow! We will leave bright and early and return late to campus around 9 p.m.

Winter Hike / Snowshoeing - CVNP

Explore the ledges during the wintertime from a whole new perspective. We will be going to Kendall Ledges in Cuyahoga Valley National Park to hike the trail using snowshoes if snowfall is deep enough. Otherwise we will go on foot.

Appalachian trail Backpacking & Whitewater Rafting (Intermediate)

Join us for our alternative spring break trip as we travel down North Carolina to backpack along the Appalachian Trail in the Nantahala Forest. This section is a favorite for many backpackers and takes you through dense rhododendron forests historic fire towers with 360 degree views and ends at the beautiful class III Nantahala River. We will also go whitewater rafting and end the trip with one night in Asheville NC to explore the local food scene.  Fee includes transportation, backcountry camping, equipment, food, rafting, one night’s lodging in Asheville and guides. This trip is designed for intermediate backpackers as we will be hiking between 5-10 miles per day, carrying a 35 lbs. backpack and tent camping with no running water for several nights of the trip. White water rafting, zip-lining, waterfall hiking and camping

This spring break is designed for those that want some adventure, but aren't quite ready to spend the week without any amenities in the backcountry. This group will travel down to NC with the backpacking group, but will spend the week day-hiking to epic waterfalls, zip-lining, and car camping with restroom facilities for the majority of nights. They will meet up with the other group to whitewater raft and head to Asheville for the last night to check out the local food scene. This trip is beginner friendly and includes transportation, tent camping with facilities, one night’s lodging in Asheville, ziplining, whitewater rafting, equipment, food and guides. Climbing Whipp's Ledge (All Levels)

Enjoy a day of outdoor climbing at Whipp's Ledges. This trip is great for all experience levels from beginner to experienced. The fee includes transportation, equipment, lunch, and instruction.

Backpacking Allegheny forest (Beginner)

Journey to The Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania for a two-day backpacking trip exploring beautiful forest and stream views. Fee includes food, transportation and equipment and no experience is needed. Our staff will take care of all of the details but keep in mind you will be walking up to four miles a day with a 35-pound pack on your back. You will walk away from the trip feeling accomplished as well as having gained the knowledge and skills to plan your own backpacking trip in the future.

Backpacking Laurel Highlands (Intermediate)

Join us as we travel to the Laurel Highlands in southern Pennsylvania for a three- day backpacking trip. The trail runs through Ohiopyle State Park and we will hike around 20 miles over the weekend. Fee includes food transportation, equipment and guides. Our staff will take care of all of the details but keep in mind you will be walking between 7-10 miles a day with a 35-pound pack on your back and some backpacking experience is useful.

Full Moon Float (All Levels)

Join us as we travel to Mogadore Reservoir for a unique evening boating experience under the full moon! We will provide all equipment including canoes, kayaks, lanterns, hot chocolate and coffee. You can ride with us or meet us out at the reservoir.

Hocking Hills Hiking and Camping (Beginner)

This is the perfect trip for beginners to get out of town to enjoy beautiful waterfalls overlooks and hopefully some wildlife! Fee includes camping equipment guides camp food and transportation.

Stand Up Paddleboarding - Cuyahoga River

This trip will be held locally on the Cuyahoga River and will begin at Tannery Park. Before paddling our experienced instructors will give a brief lesson on how to stand up paddleboard (SUP) on the river. Then you will have the unique opportunity to SUP on a slow moving current. No previous experience is needed. Fee includes equipment, guides and transportation.
