TRX Suspension Training Certification:

Learn the fundamentals of TRX Suspension Training and how to incorporate them into your personal training practice in this introductory 8-hour course.

NETA Yoga Workshops 

  • NETA's Kids Yoga Workshop: A fun, interactive and educational experience. This kid's yoga training is designed to help yoga teachers and fitness professionals create an easy bridge to adapting classes to a younger audience.  This training will provide an overview of child development, hands-on practice in storytelling and teaching, as well as address ways to creatively and effectively manage a class of young practitioners.

  • Yoga for Special Populations Workshop: Instructors will take an in-depth look at creating an open environment, teaching to students with special needs, and learn ways to help every individual meet their goal in a group setting through a coaching approach.  Explore pose adaptations, specialty class themes, and learn ways to make every individual feel comfortable in your class environment.

BARRE CURVE WORKSHOP

  • 12-hours of in person training. Learn the benefits and science behind barre, different formats, design classes, use a variety of props, teach in multiple settings (health club, dance studio, yoga studio, etc), musicality (counting music, selecting songs, creating playlists), practice teaching in front of the group and receive feedback. This training is for exercise professionals (yoga teachers, dance instructors, group exercise instructors, personal trainers, etc.)

NETA Fit Fest

  • Kent State's 7th annual NETA Fit Fest!  Join us for tons of Group Fitness Certifications and Continuing Education workshops offered the by National Exercise Trainer's Association. We will also be offering two more Yoga workshop as a part of the NETA 200-hour Yoga certification.
