Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Here ye, here ye! On Thursday, Oct. 24 the Kent State University Department of Recreational Services will host its annual Haunted wRECk. This event is a FREE Trick-or-Treat costume party for families with children 12 years and younger. This year's theme is Fairy Tale.

While there's no fee for the event, any donations will benefit Flash-a-thon and be donated to Akron Children's Hospital. $1 per person can make a huge difference!

All children must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Individuals 18 years and older must present a photo ID for entry.

Theme Areas

Explore the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and the Kent State Ice Arena while trick-or-treating through six of your favorite fairy tales. You'll encounter plenty of treats and even a few tricks along the way.

Magical Photo Booth

Once upon a time a family ventured to Haunted wRECk... Capture your special memories in our family photo booth.

Spooky Express Trolley

After exploring the areas at the SRWC, hitch a ride on the Spooky Express Trolley to head over to the Ice Arena for Trunk or Treat, pizza and other snacks.

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat (brought to you by Kent State's student organizations) will greet you upon arrival at the Ice Arena. Visit all the cars around the parking lot to collect the most candy!

Voter's Choice

Help judge our area and Trunk or Treat competitions! Cast your vote for your favorite student organization vehicle. On your ride back to the SRWC, vote on your favorite decorated area. The winning area will take home a trophy and bragging rights!
