SAS Scholarships

The office of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is proud to offer two annual scholarships that are provided by the endowment of generous donors. SAS will continue to provide updated scholarship information as we are notified about scholarships specific to students with disabilities. We also recommend that you review the many scholarships offered by Kent State University through the office of Student Financial Aid.

The Robert and Emily Beasley Scholarship

The Robert and Emily Beasley Scholarship is awarded to students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) or students who are a part of the GED Scholars Initiative. Scholarship selection is based on academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5, full time student status, and review of the student's personal statement. SAS will email students who are registered with our office and are currently enrolled in classes with information about the scholarship application process each fall semester (scholarship dependent upon available funds).
