Temporary Illness or Injury

Students with Temporary Illness or Injury

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) can assist students with temporary illness or injuries. Services are provided only for the duration of the functional limitation(s) associated with the temporary illness or injury. Examples of temporary injuries may include, but are not limited to, a fractured wrist, a broken leg, or a sprained ankle.

Eligibility for services is determined on a case-by-case basis. Students with temporary illness or injuries are required to schedule an intake appointment with SAS and may be required to provide written documentation of their illness or injury completed by an appropriate medical professional. If you need temporary handicapped parking, please visit the 'Transportation & Parking' section of our website for further information.
