Master of Library & Information Science/Master of Business Administration Dual Degree Program

You are here

The Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) dual degree program is designed for individuals who are interested in becoming managers of information centers.

The accredited M.L.I.S. is the recognized degree for professional librarians and other information professionals. The M.B.A. is recognized as the graduate degree of choice for those seeking professional management roles in both the profit and nonprofit sector.

Students interested in this dual degree option must apply separately and be accepted by both the School of Library and Information Science and the College of Business Administration. Check with each program for admissions requirements and with the Division of Graduate Studies to have your application materials applied to both program admission applications. Each program makes an independent admission decision.
