Health Informatics online open house

Posted Dec. 30, 2010

The new Health Informatics concentration launches in Fall 2011.  IAKM presented an online open house Tuesday, Nov. 30, at noon.  The presentation is available for viewing on demand.

Health Informatics is the science that defines how health information is captured, analyzed, transmitted and managed. It focuses on information systems, informatics principles and information technology as it is applied to the continuum of health care delivery. Students may work toward a master's degree or certificate, or may take individual courses to supplement their professional development.

In the online open house, HI program coordinator Michael Bice spoke about the core concepts of the HI program.  Janna Korzenko covered application requirements and other administrative items.  If you have any questions about the HI program contact Michael Bice at mibce3@kent.eduThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
