YOU can become a School Librarian - find out how at a free online open house

Posted Oct. 12, 2011

In this online open house, Meghan Harper, Ph.D., SLIS Assistant Professor, will tell you all you need to know about the school librarian program including how to apply, what courses you’ll be taking, what kinds of jobs you can get and more.

Link for open house: http://bit.ly/pu61cN.

If you do not already have Silverlight on your computer, you will need to download that in order to view the presentation. It's free at http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/.  Click on the "Download Silverlight" icon in the top right corner.

SLIS now offers multiple pathways for students to obtain the K-12 school library media specialist licensure. And all courses can be completed online!

For more information about the school librarian program, please visit http://www.kent.edu/slis/programs/mlis/k-12-schoo-libraries.cfm.

If you have any questions after the presentation, please contact Dr. Meghan Harper at sharper1@kent.edu.
