Jimmy Bowen
My name is Jimmy Bowen and I’m a senior Sociology major, with a concentration in Social Inequalities, here at Kent State University. I am from Avon Lake, Ohio (25 Mins West of Downtown Cleveland). I have been a Tour Guide for Kent State University for almost 2 years now, and I also have done work for Black Squirrel Radio here on campus. My career aspiration is to work in any medium-to-large sized university, either in the Admissions Office or Advising Office. Some fun facts about me include that I graduated high school when I was 17 years old, I met Kevin Love in a Walmart once, and my grandma was a replacement member of the Chordettes, whose original members recorded “Mister Sandman” and “Lollipop”. I wanted to be an ambassador because I found this major my first year and it helped me to find my place at a university that I love.
